In 1925, the first game was played in what was then, a new 16,000-seat stadium. Today, Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium is one of America's most recognized football stadiums and now ranks among the 15 largest on-campus facilities in the nation with an official capacity of 82,112.
